The first topic for the journal is:
The Cultural Context of Individuation
“What is the nature of individuation within the contributor’s cultural context?”
Carl Jung used the term as a process of many parts and stages such as integration of unpleasant shadow elements, facing anima/animus issues, leading to the ultimate realization of wholeness. Although individuation is a universal principle of psychological growth, each aspect has different cultural orientations, such as the goal of the ego, the ancestral values within a family, the nature of spiritual experience, and gender roles.
Contributions are welcome from Jungian analysts and other scholars to orient to this process within different cultures to broaden the nature of the concept of individuation.
